Palette Knife Workshops

Join me for a Palette Knife Art Workshop at Urban Co-Lab, a gorgeous homewares and botanical store in Kedron, Brisbane. Choose between three types of small-group workshops all of which offer relaxed, hands-on experiences where you’ll learn to layer colours and build rich textures – bringing your artwork to life with a knife! Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned artist, this workshop is all about fun, creativity, and self-expression.

• Palette Knife Play: Learn the basics of painting with a palette knife, colour mixing and build your confidence.
• Palette Knife Create: Our classic 2-hour workshop where you paint a take-home landscape or still-life artwork.
• Palette Knife Immersion: A new half-day deep dive into creating a more complex artwork and really developing your palette knife painting skills.

Suzanne Kelleher’s palette knife painting workshop for the Design and Visual Art teachers at Mount Alvernia College was excellent! The session was thoughtfully organised and reasonably priced, with all necessary resources provided, making it seamless and enjoyable for everyone involved. Suzanne’s approach offered a wonderful opportunity for teachers to tap into their creativity and reconnect with the student experience. What’s so wonderful is that Suzanne is a local Brisbane artist. I highly recommend this enriching and inspiring workshop to any educators looking to enhance their artistic skills and classroom inspiration.
