Palette Knife Create is our classic take-home art workshop.

This two-hour session is where you will paint a finished piece – guided step-by-step using a palette knife.

In this May workshop, learn how to paint a textured beachscape inspired by Australia’s iconic coastline – capturing sea, sand, sky and the beautiful movement of the shore.

You’ll learn how to:
• Create expressive ocean texture using the flat and edge of the knife
• Layer colour to suggest depth in the water and texture in the sand
• Paint a clean horizon line with confidence
• Build contrast and light to bring your scene to life!

Whether you’re completely new or have painted before this session is designed to feel achievable even if you haven’t used a palette knife before.

You’ll leave with:
• A completed coastal artwork to take home
• Practical palette knife techniques you can use again
• The creative confidence to keep painting and exploring texture

No experience necessary – if you can butter toast, I can show you how to paint with a palette knife!
